Hip-hop dance refers to street and “freestyle” dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. This class is structured around imparting both a technical education and understanding of terminology. We promote a positive atmosphere, where students are encouraged to express themselves through movement and all they learn in Hip Hop.
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance with improvisation that blends elements of several dance genres: modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. It can be further described as creative freedom, pushing boundaries, gravity, breathtaking imagery, intricate gestures, complex, simple, strength, art, movement, stillness… & HEART.
DTTA invites you to our Annual Halloween Dance Party To Benefit March Of Dimes. We dare you to enter our (not so scary) Haunted House… and join us for special performances, refreshments, face painting and games on Sunday, October 27th, 1 – 3pm. $10 per family ($5 per person). All proceeds will be donated to March of Dimes, a VERY special organization to us!

Come dance with us and meet our new guest instructor, Carlos Torres. His Turns & Leaps class is designed to maintain and improve any technique that involves leaping and turning! Dancers will acquire the tools needed to improve their technical skills and strength while gaining full-body awareness.
